The role involves using hand and air tools, reading and understanding layouts, building sub-assemblies, inspecting components, testing products, and quality control. Job Description:

We are working closely with a large, local and highly successful manufacturing business, located in Redditch. Due to increased company demand, the vacancy for a full time permanent Mechanical Fitters/Testers has been created, this role would suit individuals that have extensive Mechanical Fitting/Testing experience, gained from a large manufacturing organisation preferably. Ideally you would be available to start immediately or within a short working notice period.

 

* Job Title: Mechanical Fitter 

* Pay: £12-£14 ph 

* Hours: Days 37.5

* Area: Redditch

 

 

Role:

* Mechanical Fitter  Using hand tools air tools

* Ability to read and understand layout for assembling.

* Ability to build from Sub Assembly

* Inspection of components and working from drawings

* Testing product once built

* Quality Control

* Understand Inspection and Test Equipment

 

 Experience needed

 

 

*Experience working as a mechanical fitter 

*Experience of working from drawings

*experience  with hand tools and air tools

*Experience working form the drawing to sub assembly and final build
