Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client in their search for a Mechanical Engineer to work in their workshop in Birkenhead and sites across the North West.
For the successful Mechanical Engineer our client is offering:
- Up to £17.64 per hour (Depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm
- Permanent opportunity
- Overtime daily and on weekends
- Average Salary of 40k – 45k per annum with overtime
The Role – Mechanical Engineer
- Working in the workshop completing bench work
- Maintenance and services on pumps, seals and motors
- Mechanical service and maintenance of machinery
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Service, maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repair
- Service, install and maintenance on site
What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Engineer
- NVQ/C&G in Engineering BENIFICIAL
- Previous experience working on pumps/ seals/ motors/ pipework ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience in the industry ESSENTIAL
- Ability to get to workshop and sites reliably ESSENTIAL
- CCNSG card BENEFICIAL
- IPAF BENEFICIAL
- Previous experience & qualified working in confirmed spaces (BENEFICIAL – Training will be provided)
