48Job Description:Our client is a world leading manufacturer based in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent. They are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer to join their well established team.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for:
- All aspects of mechanical design drawing, from concept outline to detailed production.
- Ensuring products comply with current legislative requirements such as C.E, HSE, etc.
- Specifying products and components for purchase.
- Providing sales, workshop, technical, and site technical support.
- Liaising with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Maintaining engineering and contract execution standards.
- Supporting aftermarket sales, including item master and QAD data entry.
- Working closely with clients to ensure projects meet their expected returns.
Skills required for this Mechanical Design Engineer role:
- Commitment, drive and enthusiasm with a business focused mind set
- Previous experience in mechanical design engineering and AutoCAD is essential
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor design package, and knowledge of Industrial processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A valid UK driving license is essential

Details for this Mechanical Design Engineer role:
- Hours of work: 8:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
- Location: Stoke-on-Trent
- Salary: £30,000+ DOE
