Competitive salary: £30,000 per annum
 
About the Maths ECT Role: As a Maths ECT, you will be responsible for delivering Maths lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 students. While higher ability GCSE classes won’t be part of your teaching portfolio, you will be expected to teach Foundation GCSE and deliver Maths lessons following the national curriculum for Key Stage 3. Your duties will encompass planning, marking, assessments, and monitoring student progress. Additionally, engagement in wider-school activities like assemblies and trips is encouraged.
 
Requirements for the Maths ECT: To be eligible for this Maths ECT role, you should be on track to complete your PGCE this academic year or have recently obtained QTS. We are seeking committed Maths ECTs ready to embark on or complete their induction, consistently upholding the school’s values. Ideal candidates will possess experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN), demonstrating robust behaviour management skills, and the ability to establish rapport with the students you support.
