Up to £32k depending on experience
22 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
Day Shifts – Early Finish Fridays
Are you a skilled Manual Machinist with experience working on manual millers, lathes/turners, vertical borers or horizontal borers? Are you confident working from engineering drawings? Would you like to work for a family-owned business that is growing?
Our client is a leading engineering manufacturer that works with a wide range of metal materials. They are looking for a new Manual Machinist to join their growing team. Commutable from Nottingham, Ilkeston, Mansfield, Long Eaton and Derby.
The Role of Manual Machinist:
– Set up and operate a variety of manual machine tools to produce precision parts
– Working with machines including manual millers, manual lathes, manual turners, vertical borers or horizontal borers
– Working from drawings
– Working to tight tolerances
– Quality checking parts using various hand tools
– Maintaining machinery
– Working independently and as part of a team
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
– Experience operating manual milling, manual lathes, manual turning, vertical boring or horizontal boring
– Ability to work from engineering drawings
– Able to quality check own parts
– Keen to learn new skills and develop
– Motivated and excellent team player
– Able to commute to the NG16 area
The Package – Manual Machinist:
– Starting salary up to £32k depending on experience
– 7.45am to 5pm Mon-Thus, with a 12.45pm early finish on Fridays
– 22 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
