King’s College School, Wimbledon, is one of the most successful schools in the world. It offers a forward-looking education on an impressive campus to more than 1500 pupils (boys aged 7-18 and girls aged 16-18), as well as to younger pupils through Wimbledon Common Prep School, which forms part of the Corporation of King’s. Through King’s College School Wimbledon International (KCSWI), the school has established a growing global network of partner schools that aim to reflect the King’s values and commitment to educational excellence. The King’s Wimbledon family now includes six campuses overseas, with new schools opening in Vietnam and Abu Dhabi in the coming years. The school intends to extend its global partnerships, while ensuring that international collaboration forms an important part of the pupil experience at King’s.
King’s is pleased to invite applications for the role of Managing Director of KCSWI. Reporting to the Head, the Managing Director will lead the strategic development and operational oversight of this international portfolio, leading an extended team to support continued educational excellence across all schools, to identify opportunities for future growth, to build opportunities for collaboration and learning for pupils and staff across the global network, and to strengthen the King’s Wimbledon brand internationally.
The successful candidate will be a committed, visionary and commercially astute leader with a strong understanding of international education. They will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, uphold the highest standards of excellence as part of a dedicated King’s senior team, bring drive and commitment, and be adept at working across diverse cultures and stakeholder groups. They will also be comfortable undertaking extensive travel overseas. Applications are welcomed from candidates with backgrounds in education or other sectors who share a commitment to the values and mission of King’s College School, Wimbledon, and are keen to make an important contribution to the King’s community.
