38Job Description:Part time Maintenance Technician required for student accommodation in Bristol – BS3
- £22,000 per annum
- 30 hours per week
- 5 minute’s walk from Bedminster train station
- Working hours are between 8am – 8pm, on a rota system – 8am – 4pm on week 1, then 12 – 8pm on week 2.
- Electrical training courses provided by the client, free of charge!
About the role
- Minor reactive repairs
- Carrying out planned maintenance works
- Painting and decorating
- Health and safety checks
- Grounds maintenance – gardening, refuse & recycling management etc
- The installation of white goods
- Carrying out visual PAT testing
- Changing plugs and fuses
- Minor plumbing tasks.
- Where applicable, Management of Pool and Gymnasium
The right candidate
- Confident in your ability to undertake general maintenance works, including minor electrical maintenance
- Excellent communication skills, as you will be working within residents’ living spaces
- IT literate, competent user of Microsoft Office (Outlook and Word)
