Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton

Hours of work: Mornings (06:00-14:00) & afternoons (14:00-22:00) Mon – Fri

Pay Rate: £16ph – £17ph Dependant on experience.

Duration: Temporary ongoing.

Are you an experienced maintenance engineer seeking a new and exciting opportunity in the Wolverhampton?

Key Responsibilities:

– Ensure compliance with planned outputs related to Health & Safety, Quality, and Performance.
– Apply a methodical approach to identify and resolve faults.
– Respond promptly to breakdowns reported by Engineering or Production Operatives.
– Exhibit a proactive problem-solving approach.
– Prioritise work schedules effectively as required.
– Identify and procure spares to enhance plant efficiency.
– Foster efficient communication with Production and Engineers through logbooks and other mediums.
– Collaborate with all departments to grasp site challenges.
– Adhere to safety procedures and uphold sound engineering principles.
– Manage and monitor adherence to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
– Showcase bench fitting skills and preferably, proficiency in machining and/or welding.
– Comfortably work with electrical circuits and PLC-controlled processes.
– Possess previous experience in the manufacturing industry, with a preference for expertise in food and beverage production.
