Recruit4Staff is representing a Fabrication & Welding company in their search for a Machine Shop Manager to work in their workshop in Wem. The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of £36,000-£40,000, 29 days of holiday, and a company pension. The role involves managing a team within the Machine Shop, overseeing health & safety, and ordering materials. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, an Engineering background, and experience with CNC Milling, Lathes, and Manual machines. The position is commutable from Shrewsbury, Oswestry, and Telford.

Job Description:

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-known Fabrication & Welding company in their search for a Machine Shop Manager to work in their workshop based in Wem.

For the successful Machine Shop Manager our client is offering:

2. Annual salary up to £36,000-£40,000 per annum (D.O.E)
3. Monday to Friday, 7:30-4:30 with a 12:30 finish on Fridays
4. 29 days holiday (including bank holidays)
5. Company pension 
6. Permanent Role

The Role – Machine Shop Manager;

2. Managing a team within the Machine Shop
3. Managing a team of 14 within the workshop
4. Hands on management position
5. Planning work and adhering to deadlines
6. Ordering materials
7. Overseeing health & safety within the workshop
8. Working on the tools if required
9. Liaising with the other Workshop Manager & Factory Manager

What our client is looking for in a Machine Shop Manager;

2. Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role – ESSENTIAL
3. You MUST have an Engineering background and have experience with CNC Milling, Lathes & Manual machines – ESSENTIAL
4. Competent with Microsoft Office Packages – ESSENTIAL
