We are currently recruiting for a Meetings and Events Beverage Manager to support the Meetings and Events Operations Team at The Londoner Hotel. Our Meetings and Events Operation is delivering high end events and meetings in a luxury hotel environment.
Overview:
- The key role of Meetings and Events Beverage Manager is to ensure that the correct orders are made in good time for each event and that pre orders of wine, spirits and cocktails for each event are prepared
- You will ensure that stock is maintained and accounted for and actively checked on a regular basis.
- You will manage all glassware and barware for the Meeting and Events department.
- You will ensure that all beverages are presented to guests in accordance with service excellence standards.
- You will ensure that all bar equipment is maintained correctly and that all areas including the cellar and storerooms are maintained to the highest standards ensuring that hygiene standards are always met.
- You will recruit, coach, mentor and support the Meetings and Events bar team ensuring a high level of teamwork and collaboration to provide excellent guest service.
About You:
- In depth knowledge of Meetings and Events Bar Operations within a multi-million-pound hotel revenue operation within a 5 Star environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, logistics, management and leadership skills is essential for this role.
- Has proven organizational skills and works well on their own. Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
- Confident and has the ability to establish rapport effectively.
- A good command of English both verbal and written.
