Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:

A locum ANP position is available in Gloucester, with rates ranging from £52 to £60 per hour. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment for patients. The successful candidate must have experience working autonomously in an advanced nursing role and be a nurse prescriber. They should also have advanced clinical practice skills and knowledge of managing patients with complex needs. The company offers a friendly and dedicated consultant, a diligent compliance officer, and an efficient finance officer. Job Description:

Role: Locum ANP

Location: Gloucester

Rate: £52 weekday(18:00-24:00)

          £56 Saturday(08:00-24:00)

          £60 Saturday(08:00-24:00)

We are currently seeking for a motivated and keen candidate for the above job.  We do work with several organisations and we can provide you with a variety of shifts that fit around your schedule so you can make the most of your time.

Here are some of the providers we work with:

• GP surgeries
• Out of Hours
• UCC – urgent care centre

Key responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients presenting
  with an undifferentiated diagnosis.
• Clinically examine and assess patient needs from a physiological and psychological perspective, and plan
  clinical care accordingly.
• Prescribe and review medication for therapeutic effectiveness, appropriate to patient needs and in
  accordance with evidence-based practice and national and practice protocols, and within scope of practice.
• Support patients to adopt health promotion strategies that promote healthy lifestyles, and apply principles
  of self-care.

Team working:

• Understand own role and scope and identify how this may develop over time.
• Work as an effective and responsible team member, supporting others and exploring the mechanisms to
  develop new ways of working.
• Create clear referral mechanisms to meet patient need.
• Work effectively with others to clearly define values, direction and policies impacting upon care delivery.
• Agree plans and outcomes by which to measure success.

Experience:

• Working autonomously in an advanced nursing role.
  
• Nurse prescribing.

Knowledge:

• Advanced clinical practice skills.
• Management of patients with complex needs.
• Clinical examination skills.
• Knowledge of public health issues
