Logistics People are looking for Class 1 Drivers working on a Full time Equivalent (FTE) and Ad Hoc basis at our CML Telford depot.
***Must be able to do occasional nights out***
Location: Telford
Working Hours: 5 On 3 Off // 4 On 4 Off // Wednesday to Sunday (Days and Night Shifts Available)
FTE Pay Rates:
5 On 3 Off £16.52 P/hr
4 On 4 Off £16.52 P/hr
Wednesday – Sunday £14.51 – £18.11 P/hr
Extra Day Rate:
Extra Day Rate Mon – Fri £188.49 per shift
Extra Day Rate Sat £226.60 per shift
Extra Day Rate Sun £257.50 per shift
Start times available between 07:00 – 13:59 & 21:00 – 23:59 – Shift premium of £10 per shift
Start times available between 14:00 – 20:59 – Shift premium of £15 per shift
Ad Hoc Rates:
Monday to Friday Days: £17.37 P/hr
Monday to Friday Nights: £18.49 P/hr
Saturday Days: £20.73 P/hr
Saturday Nights: £21.85 P/hr
Sunday Days: £21.85 P/hr
Sunday Nights: £22.97 P/hr
In addition to the above, you will receive the following:
Enhancements for working over 11 hour shifts (in addition to your basic salary)
Flexible start windows and premiums paid (in addition to your basic salary)
Regular overtime at excellent rates
Night out allowances
The role consists of completing deliveries and collections.
***Driving Assessment Required***
Delivery of palletised chilled goods
Client collections
Inter depot trunking
Driving new vehicles, typically under 2 years
About You
You should hold a HGV 1/C+E Licence for a minimum 2 years
No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
Excellent communication skills
