Job Description:CLASS 2 DRIVER VACANCY
LGV Class 2 Driver required for Temp to Perm work in Wednesbury, WS10. Working with one of the UKs largest metal distributors.
£32,500 pa salary (plus benefits when permanent)
13 week temp to perm
The role:
Working a day shift starting 04:00, you will be responsible for the safe movement of loads to service centres nationwide
A typical day consists of 1-6 drops
**YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO THE STRAP LOAD DOWN ***
Other duties may be required on an occasional basis so a degree of flexibility is required.
2-3 planned nights out per week- (but you will need to be prepared just in case)
Days of work for LGV Class 2
You will be driving Manual & Automatic vehicles
Monday – Friday
Start times will be from 04:00
Rate of pay for LGV Class 2
£32,500 pa
This is a TEMP TO PERM position.
Requirements:
LGV C licence
Digicard
Driver CPC
No DR or DD convictions
Ability to work permanent afternoons
A ‘can do’ attitude
A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS ON THE ROAD CLASS 2 EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. STRAPPING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL.
