Nuclear Restoration Services Limited (NRS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). NRS is responsible for decommissioning first generation nuclear power stations Berkeley, Bradwell, Chapelcross, Dungeness A, Hinkley Point A, Hunterston A, Oldbury, Sizewell A, Trawsfynydd and Wylfa, and research sites Harwell and Winfrith. NRS is also responsible for electricity generation at hydroelectric plant Maentwrog. As a division of NRS, NRS Dounreay is responsible for the clean-up and demolition of the former centre of fast reactor research and development.

About the role

This role supports the Sizewell A and Bradwell Site Director and members of the Site Lead Team. The successful applicant will provide a high-level professional, proactive and confidential personal assistant support service alongside coordination of key meetings and visits.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Being pro-active and prioritising the diverse demands of the Site Director’s time (or other members of the Lead Team as required), to work independently using high levels of initiative and responsiveness.
Acting as primary contact for all enquiries both internally but to also include the NDA and requests from Regulators etc. Ensuring that enquiries are dealt with efficiently and effectively, using sensitivity and discretion, including the follow up of decisions made by the Site Director or Lead Team and ensuring that the appropriate action has been progressed and the task completed.
Supporting in preparation for meetings, including bringing forward paperwork, chasing outstanding information, requesting and assembling briefing material and alerting them to upcoming deadlines.
Managing documentation and information.
Producing confidential correspondence.
Preparing meeting agendas, presentations, minutes and action plans, as required.
Supporting room bookings and training courses held at site.
Provide high level personal assistant support including, but not limited to, management of expenses, arranging and prioritising meetings, organising travel, accommodation etc.
During absences ensure tasks are delegated and prioritise the information for action upon their return.
Assisting in the development and adoption of quality administrative systems and processes within the function.
The post holder is accountable to the Site Director but will support Lead Team members and will provide, as required by circumstances, high level professional service support to other NRS Senior Managers where appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience:
A Level or Equivalent (or appropriate ‘on the job’ proven experience)
Experience of providing PA support at Director or Senior Manager level, within a large, complex organisation with a range of external agencies or stakeholders
Considerable knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Power Point
Ability to manage workload autonomously
Proven organisational and time management skills, together with the ability to solve problems creatively, but in a logical manner

Flexible working – where possible.
The equivalent of 25 days (185 hours per year) annual leave plus Public Holidays (59.2 hours per year). This increases by 2 days (14.8 hours per year) annual leave after two full calendar years of service (as at 5th January in the leave year) , and an additional 3 days (22.2 hours per year) annual leave after five full calendar years of service (as at 5th January in the leave year). You also have the option to buy or sell the equivalent of 5 days (37 hours) annual leave each year (available in specific windows for the following holiday year). For the purpose of assessing an employee’s annual leave entitlement, a day means seven and two fifths (7.4) hours. A pro rata entitlement will apply for part time workers.
