Link3 Recruitment are seeking a talented and creative Lead Design & Technology Teacher required to start work in one of our Secondary Schools located within Northampton.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and energetic personwho is committed to providing the highest quality education to secondary school children across Northampton.

This Lead Design & Technology Teacher role is full-time temporary basis, with great potential of progressing to a permanent position.
We require an eager and passionate Design & Technology Teacher that will innovate and raise standards as well as attainment. A good sense of humour, the ability to relate and effectively communicate with young people are essential.

To be successful for this Lead Design & Technology Teacher position, you will:
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
- Have a great understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
- Have previous experience working as a Design & Technology Teacher within a Secondary School setting.
- Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
- Have a passion for working with young people.
- Provide & encourage a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
- Innovative and resourceful teaching methods, plan curriculum and evaluating student progress.

Essential Requirements:
As a minimum, all applicants must have:
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
- a wealth of experience as a Design & Technology teacher within a Secondary School setting.
- A positive approach to child development, managing behaviourand be passionate about your area of expertise which is evident in your teaching.
