KS1 Class assistant

An experienced Teaching Assistant is sought for a full-time position at a vibrant primary school in Richmond, starting in September 2025. The role involves supporting a KS1 class, contributing to the learning and development of pupils, and assisting the class teacher with educational activities. The school values a proactive and flexible individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children. Academics are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Richmond, starting in September 2025. The school are looking for a Teaching assistant who is able to have a positive impact and give classroom support to both teachers and pupils in KS1 and to help towards their development.

Location: Primary school in Richmond
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £90-£110 (Dependent on experience)

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and help them reach their potential.
• Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help with supervision during break times and school trips.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential).
• A positive, proactive, and flexible approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
