97Job Description:We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our IT support team as an IT Service Desk Analyst. They will be customer focused and provide a single point of contact for all users of IT through the logging and management of all incidents and service requests.
*Responsibilities:*
· Provide first-line support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
· Provision of first line support, including but not limited to triage and appropriate troubleshooting, correct incident categorisation and resolution where possible.
· Retention of end-to-end ownership and working with Piramal IT resolver groups and third parties where required.
· Purchase of and receipting equipment as required.
· Maintain excellent customer service ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
· Assist in managing and maintaining IT systems and equipment.
· Set up new user accounts and manage access to networks and systems.
· Document and track all issues and resolutions in our ticketing system.
· Work collaboratively with other members of the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and services.
· Provide training and guidance to end-users on basic IT tasks.

· A passion for technology and willingness to learn.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
· Good communication and customer service skills
· Ability to work well in a team environment.
· Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 7&10, operating systems is a plus.
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: Up to £24,500.00 per year
Schedule:
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Morpeth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
* GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
* Technical support: 1 year (preferred)
* Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
