98Job Description:Indirect Procurement Manager – Nottingham – £50,000 / £55,000 (Temporary, 3 months minimum)
Chase & Holland are delighted to be partnered with a very successful and well-established Technology and Engineering business based in the Nottingham area as they seek to recruit for an Indirect Procurement Manager to join their team on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Head of Procurement and CEO, this exciting new position will play a pivotal role in the establishment and optimisation of the businesses’ purchasing function. The business are reputable leaders within their field and are forecasting a continued period of growth over the next decade and beyond!

Indirect Procurement Manager Responsibilities:

• Management of the purchasing team
• Ensure minimal COG’s/overheads are achieved by using a continuous interrogation process of costs and suppliers
• Ensure teams KPIs are monitored, and action taken where necessary and delegate where appropriate
• Review aspects and areas of improvement for practices and processes personally and with the team
• Ensuring the best quality products and services are obtain for the best price in a timely manner
• Implement strategic procurement processes and policies
• Identify potential alternate suppliers in existing and emerging markets
• Auditing suppliers to assess suitability to supply

Hours:  Full time Monday to Friday

Required Skills & Experience:

• This is an integral role to the business and as such, the right person needs to have experience of working in a strategic indirect procurement function
• The client needs someone who works cross-functionally in developing and executing sound sourcing strategies to select reliable suppliers
• You’ll ideally be degree educated and someone with good budget management experience
• Be driven to deliver change
• Have a collaborative can-do attitude to work
