Are you a hands-on Finance Manager who loves getting under the skin of a growing business? This fast-paced SME based in Huddersfield is looking for an interim Finance Manager to support during a period of growth and transition.
You’ll be working closely with the Head of Finance and wider leadership team to ensure strong financial control, accurate reporting, and meaningful insight to drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities include:
– Preparation of monthly management accounts with full P&L and balance sheet ownership
– Financial reporting and analysis, highlighting key trends and performance drivers
– Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of robust financial controls
– Cashflow forecasting and support with budgeting and variance analysis
– Oversee day-to-day transactional finance, including purchase/sales ledger and bank reconciliations
– Assist with process improvement and support the business as it continues to scale About You
– Qualified or AAT/QBE accountant
– Strong experience in SME or owner-managed businesses
– Confident producing management accounts end-to-end
– Comfortable being hands-on with both reporting and transactional work
– Flexible, proactive, and commercially minded
