A company in Coventry, UK is seeking an Informatica MDM Lead Consultant to work on their Customer 360 project. The consultant will be responsible for developing data governance strategies and solutions, focusing on the Customer 360 entities. They will also need to establish data governance policies and standards, ensure compliance with regulations, implement data quality frameworks, and collaborate with business units. Strong skills in Informatica data governance, data quality, data profiling, and data cataloging are required. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to prioritize workload effectively. The contract is expected to last for at least 6 months.

Rate: £450-600 per day inside IR35

The Technical Lead for Data Governance Customer 360 is responsible for the development of data governance strategies and solutions, with a focus on Customer 360 entities. This role involves taking charge of the organization’s architecture design authority, seeking approvals from the Data Governance side, and finalizing Customer 360 entities’ data architecture design. The ideal candidate is a professional experienced in Informatica data governance, data quality, data marketplace, data profiling, and data cataloging, ensuring the quality, availability, and usability of organizational data assets.

Responsibilities:

• Assume authority for the organization’s architecture design and seek approvals from the Data Governance side.
• Finalize Customer 360 entities and contribute to data architecture design.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and standards.
• Establish processes for data stewardship and data ownership.
• Ensure compliance with data regulations and industry standards.
• Implement data quality frameworks to identify and rectify data issues.
• Collaborate with business units to define data quality metrics and benchmarks.
• Monitor and report on data quality performance across various systems.
• Create and manage a centralized data marketplace or data exchange platform.
• Facilitate data sharing agreements between internal teams or external partners.
• Optimize data marketplace functionality and user experience.
• Maintain a comprehensive data catalog containing metadata and data lineage information.
• Categorize and tag data assets for easy discovery and retrieval.
• Conduct in-depth data profiling to understand data characteristics and patterns.
• Identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in data sets.
• Collaborate with data owners to improve data accuracy and reliability.
• Develop and communicate Data Governance policies.
• Support the business in data-driven decision-making and actionable insights.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendor stakeholders, and project teams.
• Set up processes and establishments for data-driven strategy review and escalation within the data control environment.
• Experience in data warehousing concepts and methodologies.

Skills Required:

• Develop, test, and deploy data quality and data integration solutions in accordance with customer schedules.
• Experience with Informatica IDQ, Informatica, Informatica Cloud MDM, and Data Profiling.
• Strong background in managing engineering teams with an understanding of digital technologies and systems.
• Excellent ability to structure, analyze, and interpret data.
• High level of IT literacy.
