Job Title: Humanities Teacher
Salary: MPS1 – UPS3 £30,000 – £46,525
Location: ‘Outstanding’ secondary school, Birmingham
Contract: Permanent – September 2024
Highlight: Plan, deliver and mark all aspects of the RS/Geography/History curriculum
The Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will be an integral part of the department and will work alongside experienced teachers to deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential. You will be expected to teach across the key stages, including KS3 and KS4, and to contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum and the attainment levels of students. You may also be required to teach within the wider Humanities role, providing support to other subjects in the deparment.
The Candidate
The school are looking for an individual who is passionate about Humanities and has the ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities. You will be an effective communicator and be able to establish positive relationships with both students and colleagues. You will be committed to your own professional development and participate in ongoing professional development.
