Overall Purpose of the Role
Working under the direction of the HSE Admin Coordinator this role is linked to the operational delivery of the HSE strategic aims by effectively managing the following areas..

  • Management and maintenance of the relevant operational HSE administration processes and systems to ensure the effective delivery of our services and ensuring statutory compliance.
  • To provide administration support to the wider HSE team and frontline operators
  • To provide HSE support within the wider Compass Group business to achieve the above objectives in such a way that ensures we have a consistent HSE approach across the wider contracts operated.

The main activities of the role, but not limited to, are:

  • Uploading, auditing and chasing incident packs
  • LTI report & weekly call
  • Weekly / monthly reports
  • Administration of HSE lead courses
  • Taking the minutes of HSE Meetings
  • Answering HSE Admin telephone and email enquiries
  • Post management
  • Managing correspondence concerning Environmental Health Officers.
  • Supporting HSE Managers – Reports, documents, travel and accommodation bookings.
  • Production of MAP reports
  • OOLM – Payroll update
  • Process and Maintenance of invoices, out of hours roster and annual leave
  • Covering tasks of other team members when necessary
  • Hestia monthly incident food and EHO reporting
  • Levy training packs Distribution for events
  • Any other duties as required

Essential attributes:

  • Excellent administrative skills

  • Strong IT skills – MS Office and websites
