Hotel Chef de Partie – Buckingham

We are currently recruiting for a Hotel Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade at a beautiful venue in the heart of Buckingham. The Chef de Partie will assist the senior Chefs in the preparation and service of food on their given section for multiple outlets, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.

The Place

Our client is a conference, meeting and wedding venue within a historic Coaching Inn in the heart of Buckingham, a spectacular 18th Century 49-bedroom hotel that has recently been refurbished. As Chef de Partie you will join a team of talented chefs preparing food for guests for our rosette restaurant, afternoon tea lounge, conference lunches, weddings and special events.
The Person

The ideal chef de partie will have the following:

  • 2 years solid experience in a fresh food kitchen as a hotel Chef
  • Experience in banqueting would be beneficial
  • A creative approach to seasonally changing menus and a busy multi outlet operation
  • High standards of cleanliness, stock control, and task prioritisation.
  • A true passion for food and have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • True team spirit, enthusiasm and the right attitude will go a long way!
  • The ability to run a section
  • Have a thorough understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen.
  • Possess a willingness to meet the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment.
  • As the hotel is located in the heart of Buckingham, having reliable means of transport to this area is essential.
