Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:
A home delivery driver position is available with our client, a sustainable business that delivers British milk and artisan groceries to households. The driver will work night shifts, delivering totes of fresh produce to customers’ doorsteps and completing up to 200 drops per night. They will also be responsible for temperature checks, vehicle maintenance, and recording deliveries using a handheld scanner. The ideal candidate must be physically fit, able to work alone and at night, and have a Full UK Driving License with no more than 6 points. Temporary to permanent role with weekly pay for the first 12 weeks.

What you should expect:
Your Title: Home Delivery Driver
Your Pay: £11.22 Weekly Pay every Friday!
Your Shift: 23:00 – 07:00 Approximately 40 hours which will be covered over a period of 5 nights – Sunday-Thursday night
Your Base Location: Derby
Your Contract Term: Temp – Perm after 12 weeks
Job Duties:
– Deliver totes of fresh produce to customers doorsteps!
– Carry out up to 200 drops per night
– Ensure temperature checks are recorded within the vehicle
– Take special care when collecting/delivering any product stored in glass
– Use a handheld scanner to ensure collections and deliveries are recorded efficiently
– Carry out vehicle checks before and after shift
As a Person:
– Must be Physically fit
– Be OK with heavy lifting
– Be OK with working Night Shifts 6 nights per week
– Be flexible with working hours as shift times can occasionally run over
– Be able to manage time well to ensure all drops are completed
– Have a good attention to detail
– Be happy to work in all weather conditions
– Preferably worked night shift before – (Desirable)

Skills & Experience:
– Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence for at least 6 months with no more than 6 points
– Can do attitude with a desire to consistently exceed our customers’ expectations
– You must enjoy working alone and at night and be physically fit to meet the demands of the role
– Must have right to work documents
