The company is actively seeking to recruit a Highways Operative for a client based in Somerset. The role involves collecting recycling and waste from more than 100,000 households and commercial establishments across North Somerset and the surrounding region. Additionally, the operative will manage Household Waste Recycling Centres located in Backwell, Portishead, and Weston, as well as two Waste Transfer Stations in Weston. Furthermore, the position entails maintaining 1,100 km of highways in North Somerset, which includes performing surface repairs and other related tasks.
