Pertemps Bristol is looking for a permanent, full-time HGV/LCV Technician for a transport client in BS11. The role offers a salary of £37,000 – £40,000, with potential earnings of £70,000, and includes benefits such as breakdown cover, brand manufacture training, and a pension scheme. The main responsibilities of the role include diagnosing faults and repairing vehicles, servicing vehicles according to manufacturers’ schedules, and ensuring that workshop facilities and equipment are maintained. - £37,000 – £40,000 DOE (Inc breakdown cover, potential earnings of £70,000)
- 40hr week
- Early shift: Mon to Fri 7am to 3:30pm plus one Saturday (8am-1pm) in every three weeks Late shift: 3pm – 11:30pm

About the role
- To diagnose faults and repair the product from truck and van range
- To service vehicles according to the manufacturers schedule
- To diagnose and repair faults using the technology (Xentry) and all available workshop information systems
- Ensure that the workshop facilities, equipment and tools are kept clean, tidy and maintained, reflecting City West Commercials image of an efficient dealership
The right candidate will have
- NVQ: Level 3 minimum qualification
- HGV License would be an advantage but not essential
