HGV Driver Class 1

Gist is seeking skilled Class 1 HGV drivers for ongoing temporary assignments involving depot-to-depot runs and the delivery of milk products. The positions offer regular shifts, competitive pay rates starting from £18.15 per hour for days and up to £21.09 per hour for weekends. Drivers will benefit from minimal load interaction, with an average of 1 to 3 drops per shift, and will receive full induction and training. *Pay Rates:*

* *Weekends: Up to £21.09 per hour*
* *All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately*
The majority of shifts at this site are simple, no-touch runs between depots and RDCs, with minimal interaction with the load. There is also a requirement to transport cages of chilled products to stores. Drivers can expect an average of 1 to 3 drops per shift, depending on the route and load. A full induction and training is provided to ensure you are safe and efficient from day one.
There are a variety of shift patterns available, and night and weekend shifts are available for those looking to boost their earnings. Shift lengths are typically around 10-13 hours, so talk to us about what works for you.
