HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

A client in the Southampton area is seeking a dedicated Class 2 HIAB Driver for a Temp to Perm position, offering an opportunity for long-term stability. The role involves delivering building materials across Hampshire using a HIAB-equipped HGV, operating the crane safely, and maintaining high customer service standards. Candidates must possess a valid Category C licence, Driver CPC, and HIAB certification, along with a clean driving record and at least two years of HGV driving experience. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our client based in the Southampton area on a Temp to Perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for long-term stability.
*Your responsibilities as an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver:*
* Delivering building materials to various locations across Hampshire using a HIAB-equipped HGV.
* Operating the HIAB crane safely and efficiently, ensuring proper loading and unloading of materials.
* Maintaining excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
* Ensuring your vehicle is clean and the paperwork is completed.
* Demonstrating strong knowledge of the Dorset area and road network.
*What we’re looking for:*
* Valid Category C/Class 2 Driving Licence.
* Valid Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card and HIAB/Lorry Mounted Loader Certificate.
* Clean driving record (no more than 6 points, no DD/DR in the last 5 years).
* Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 2 driving experience.
* Authorised to work in the UK.
* Flexible attitude.
* Own transportation (public transport may not be reliable).
