HGV Class 2 Driver

A client based in Petersfield is seeking a motivated HGV Class 2 Driver. The successful candidate will operate refuse collection vehicles, collecting waste from residential and commercial properties while adhering to schedules and ensuring compliance with legislation. Key requirements include holding a full Class 2/C Licence for at least two years, a valid CPC and Digi card, and a clean driving record. The role offers an hourly rate of £14.00 to £17.00, depending on the employment arrangement, with expected hours of 37.5 per week. We are currently looking for a highly motivated HGV Class 2 Driver to work with our client based in Petersfield .
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and operating refuse collection vehicles to collect waste from residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive and operate refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
* Collect waste from residential and commercial properties according to schedules and routes.
* Ensure that all collected waste is disposed of appropriately and in compliance with relevant legislation.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
Requirements:
* Full Class 2/C Licence – Minimum of 2 years held
* Valid CPC & Digi card
* No more than 6 penalty points, with no DD, DR, CD, DG, TT codes
* Committed & Reliable
* Be flexible and able to work early morning shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
The Role:
* Hourly Rate – £14.00ph or £17.00ph Umbrella
