Backline Logistics is seeking HGV Class 2 / Category C drivers to join their team in Plymouth and surrounding areas. The role involves duties such as palletised multidrop and general distribution, with work hours typically from Monday to Friday, starting between 06:00 and 08:00. Applicants must hold a full UK Class 2 licence, a valid CPC, and a digital tachograph card. The position offers a pay rate of £14.50 per hour, along with free CPC training and various benefits. *Backline Logistics* are looking for *HGV Class 2 / Category C drivers *to join our fleet of professional drivers, to work for a range of companies in *Plymouth* and surrounding areas.
Duties could include but are not limited to: palletised multidrop, cage work, and/ or general distribution (e.g., building supplies, tyres, metals or parcels).
Usual hours of work are *Monday to Friday*, start times between *06:00am and 08:00am*. You will be paid for a minimum of *8 or* *9 hours per shift*, client dependent. Full-time, part-time, and ad-hoc hours available.
*THE REQUIREMENTS*
* You must hold a full UK Class 2 / Category C License with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
* You must hold a current and valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
* Possess a broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
* Be clean and professional at all times.
* Possess good written and spoken communication skills.
