A company in Cheltenham is looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver, paying £13.50 per hour, with ad hoc shifts available from Monday to Friday. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading the vehicle, checking orders, and delivering to 3 to 10 drops per day. The successful candidate must have a valid UK Class 2 driving license, CPC + Digi Tacho Card, and a maximum of 3 points for minor endorsements. Job Description:HGV Class 2 Driver needed in Cheltenham, paying £13.50ph (+ holiday pay + pension).
Ad hock shifts available, Monday to Friday, starting at 0600, distance multi drop driving, free on site parking.
As a Class 2 Driver you will be expected to load and unload the vehicle with orders & stocks, checking orders are correctly delivered, collect items to be returned, completing of delivery paperwork.
You will be expected to deliver to 3 to 10 drops per day. This is a customer facing role – customer service skills & personal presentation are very important.
The successful candidates must meet the following criteria:
Hold a valid UK Class 2 driving licence.
CPC + Digi Tacho Card
Maximum of 3 points for minor endorsements.
Fully fit and happy with loading and unloading of the van at the start and end of each shift.
Information:
£13.50ph + holiday pay and pension.
Minimum Pay of 8 hours pay a day.
(30 mins break taken after days longer than 8 hours)
Weekly pay each Friday – PAYE.
