HGV Class 1 Night Driver

Taskmaster Resources LTD is seeking HGV Class 1 night drivers for clients near Rotherham, offering pay rates of £17.50 per hour on weekdays and £19.00 on Sundays, with a minimum of 8 hours guaranteed. Drivers will work in pairs, delivering parts to RDCs overnight. Applicants must possess a valid Category C+E licence, a digital tachograph card, and a full CPC, alongside a minimum of two years' Class 1 experience. The role requires safe vehicle operation, compliance with regulations, and efficient delivery handling. Benefits include immediate starts, weekly pay, free PPE, and holiday pay accrual.

Taskmaster Resources LTD are *l*ooking for HGV Class 1 drivers to work for our clients based near Rotherham S66
Working as a team of 2 you will be responsible for delivering parts to RDC’s overnight for deliver the following day. Typically working with another driver or drivers mate dependant on location you will be going too.
When making the delivery you will be working with the other driver/drivers mate using the tail lift and loading the RDC/branch. All the trailers are double deckers so use of them would be advantageous, but not a deal breaker.

*Applicants must have the following:*
* Hold a valid Category C+E (Class 1) HGV/ LGV entitlement.
* *MINIMUM OF 2 YEAR CLASS 1 EXPERIENCE*
* Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card).
* Have no more than 6 points on your license; DR DD IN endorsements are *NOT* accepted.
* Hold a full CPC.
* Be Polite and Pleasant.

* Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
* Deliver goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records.
* Handle flatbed loads securely and ensure proper loading and unloading procedures are followed.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
* Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to company policies and procedures.
