HGV Class 1 Driver

Turbo Driving is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers with a minimum of three months' experience to join their expanding transport and logistics team. The role involves trunking and trailer swapping across regional and national routes, with flexible shift patterns available, including full-time, part-time, and various start times. Pay rates range from £16.80 to £19.94 per hour, depending on the shift. Applicants must hold a valid UK Category C+E driving licence, have up-to-date CPC and Digi-tacho cards, and a maximum of six penalty points. Turbo Driving offers guaranteed shifts, weekly pay, and a friendly work environment.

Assessments before commencement of shifts then once passed you will be given an Immediate start.
*Experience needed (min 3months class 1 experience)*
Various start times available to suit your needs
*All shift patterns considered – *4 on 4 off, 5 on 3 off, 5 shifts, 2 shifts, ad hoc and weekend only all available with this contract
*Rates:*
*Days: *£16.80 Mon-Thurs, Fri £17.37, Sat £17.93 and Sun £18.22
*Afternoons: *£17.37 Mon-Thurs, Fri £17.93, Sat £16.50 and Sun £19.05
*PM Shifts: *£18.15 Mon-Thurs, Fri £19.05, Sat £19.61 and Sun £19.94
Average 10 hours a day
48 hour working week average
*Full time/part time and any shift pattern that you can work will be considered.*
The role:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will:
* Trunk/Trailer swap with goods across regional/national routes
* No interaction with the load
* Conduct pre- and post-route vehicle checks and record via app
* Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies
* Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods
About you:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will have:
* A valid UK Category C+E driving license
* Up-to-date CPC and Digi-tacho cards
* Max 6 points (no CD/IN/TT/DR)
* Knowledge of driving regulations and compliance
* A professional and customer-focused approach
