A recruitment opportunity has arisen for Class 2 HIAB drivers to start immediately in Penzance. This full-time role guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week, typically working Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:00. Drivers will deliver various materials to residential and commercial sites, with moderate handballing required. Previous HIAB experience is preferred, but training is available for those with expired certificates. Strong customer service skills are essential, alongside a valid Class 2 UK licence, a Driver CPC card, and a Digital Tachograph card. The pay starts at £17.00 per hour.
We a looking for Class 2 HIAB drivers with an immediate start to work in Penzance.
This is a full time position, and will make you a permanent driver in our team with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.
The working week is Monday to Friday, typically 07:30-17:00 although this may vary. You will be delivering various materials using the HIAB to residential and commercial sites. Some moderate handball may be required.
You will be making multiple deliveries through out the course of the day and will need to use various lifting attachments to ensure safe and secure offloading of materials. Previous HIAB experience is desired although not essential. If you have an expired HIAB certificate, we can re-train you free of charge.
This role is client facing so good customer service skills are essential. Previous experience in this line of work is desired although not essential as training can be given. Must hold a Class 2 UK licence, (Category C) with a maximum of 6 penalty points and no other endorsements. You must also hold a drivers CPC card and a Digital Tachograph card.
