HGV 2 Driver

Staffing Match has partnered with a prominent multinational logistics company in Bury St Edmunds to recruit HGV 2 drivers. The role offers £16.06 per hour for day shifts and £23.76 for overtime, with no weekend work required. Drivers will complete deliveries of equipment to hospitals and GP surgeries, typically making 7-8 drops per shift with preloaded vehicles. Candidates must hold a full Cat C licence, a valid CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with a minimum of two years' experience. This is a great opportunity for HGV 2 drivers to work for a well-respected logistics company that prides itself on the relationship with its drivers whilst supporting the NHS. Our client also has a fleet of new, well maintained clean vehicles.
Your responsibilities as a HGV 2 Driver:
Completing deliveries of equipment to Hospitals and GP Surgeries across the region.
Vehicles are preloaded and ready to go.
Deliveries of palletised or caged goods with around 7-8 drops per shift.
Average shifts 9 / 10 hours.
HGV 2 Driver – About you:
Full Cat C licence or above (minimum 2 years’ experience)
A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
All drivers must undertake a driving assessment and have a criminal record check – we will help with this.
