Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
Location: Wakefield, (with potential travel to Group sites across the North of England)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager who is NEBOSH qualified to join our team. Based at our manufacturing plant in Wakefield, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of safety across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a robust understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation within a manufacturing environment in a similar industry.
- Take ownership of all Health and Safety activities at the site, promoting cross-departmental collaboration.
- Partner with Managers to translate business priorities into actionable Health and Safety initiatives.
- Uphold high-quality standards and cultivate a high-performance Health and Safety culture.
- Lead, develop, and manage relevant Health and Safety programmes to engage colleagues and ensure consistency across the business.
- Drive practical implementation and enforcement of best practices on the shop floor.
Qualifications and Skills:
- NEBOSH qualification is essential.
- Proven experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental management within a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills with the ability to gain buy-in from staff.
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for Health & Safety with integrity and energy.
