Role: Head of Foundation

Salary: £70,000+
The Head of Foundation will be expected to:
Deliver the Trustees’ strategic direction by translating their vision into clear objectives, plans, and outcomes.
Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with Trustee priorities.
Oversee budgets, resources, and financial stewardship in collaboration with the Finance Adviser.
Lead risk management, safeguarding, and compliance frameworks to protect the Foundation’s integrity, reputation, and assets.
Provide high-level HR leadership, ensuring professional conduct, staff development, and alignment with the Foundation’s ethos.
Represent the Foundation with professionalism in dealings with regulators, partners, donors, and high-profile stakeholders, supporting fundraising and partnership development to sustain and grow the Foundation’s impact.
Provide Trustees with timely and accurate reports, assurance, and operational advice to support effective governance and decision-making.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven leadership and management experience at senior level, ideally in a CEO or equivalent capacity.
- A strong track record of overseeing budgets, resources, and organisational performance.
- Experience of risk management and compliance.
- Experience of working with Trustees or Boards and supporting effective governance.
- Experience of representing an organisation in formal, high-level settings (e.g. government, regulatory, or donor relations).
- Experience of fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and external representation at senior levels.
