A gastropub just outside London is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen and push for 2 rosettes. The pub, part of a small independent group of 5 award-winning establishments, focuses on British seasonal cuisine, using fresh, local ingredients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a London gastropub, quality restaurant group, or rosette level independent. There is potential for progression and training in this role, making it suitable for someone with executive chef ambitions. Job Role: Head Chef

Salary: 55-60k

Food Style: British Seasonal

Team Size: 10 Chefs

Daily Covers: 200 when busy

Reports to: Director

Nearest Transport: Must Drive

We are looking for an experienced and quality gastropub head chef that can cook excellent rosette level food and push for 2 rosettes this year. This is a high-quality flagship site in a small independent award winning group of 5 great pubs just outside London.

All the food is made fresh on site and the menus will reflect the British seasons. There will be use of fresh dayboat fish and local game.

We are looking for a real professional that can come in and lead the team to 2 rosettes by setting standards in the kitchen.

There is flexibility for the right candidate to progress in this role and there will be an element of multisite and staff training already in your week, so a candidate with executive chef ambitions would be perfect for this.
