– Weekend shifts Join Our Team as a Gynaecology Hysteroscopy Nurse! Are you a skilled and compassionate nurse with a passion for women’s health? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Gynae Hysteroscopy Nurse to join our dedicated NHS team, supporting patients undergoing hysteroscopy procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
What You’ll Do: Assist in delivering high-quality care during outpatient hysteroscopy procedures, supporting consultants Prepare patients for procedures, providing reassurance, education, and post-procedure care Ensure all clinical areas are fully equipped, clean, and safe in line with infection control policies Accurately document patient assessments, observations, and interventions using electronic patient record systems Act as a chaperone and provide emotional support to patients during sensitive procedures Monitor for adverse reactions or complications during and after procedures and escalate appropriately Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure timely referrals, follow-up care, and excellent patient outcomes Contribute to audits, service improvement initiatives, and patient feedback processes Maintain up-to-date knowledge and training related to gynaecology and ambulatory procedures What We’re Looking For: NMC Registered Nurse (Adult) At least 1 year experience in gynaecology, theatres, or outpatient nursing preferred Must be experience assisting hysteroscopies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confident in working independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care Organised, adaptable, and keen to develop specialist skills in ambulatory gynaecology Why Join Us?
