An exciting opportunity awaits at this ‘Good’ primary school in Smethwick! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and dynamic team.
 
*** Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
*** £70 – £80 per day
*** ‘Good’ primary school, Smethwick
*** Immediate start, until July 2024
*** 1:1 and small group support to children with additional needs

As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to support students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Providing one-on-one or group support to pupils with SEN, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
  • Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting learning materials to suit students’ abilities and learning styles.
  • Assisting the class teacher in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborating with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other staff members to monitor progress and implement interventions.
