Our established Metal Manufacturing client is currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Production Operative to join their team. Other suitable job titles could be Workshop Operative, Engineering Operative, Warehouse Operative, Mechanical Assembler, Assembly Operative and Machine Operator.
Based near Syston LE7
Duties of the Production operative/Assembly operative
– Using a variety of engineering tools and machinery
– Working from job order sheets
– Working to deadlines
– Visually inspecting parts
Key Skills / Experience Required for the general operative/ Assembly operative
– Previous experience using
– Must be able to start at short notice
– Ability to work with various hand tools
– Hard-working and motivated
– A keen eye for detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
– Able to work independently and as part of a team
The Package:
– Starting pay rate of £11 per hour
– Onsite parking
– Overtime available and paid at a premium
