The establishment is seeking a Sales and Events Manager, responsible for managing venue hire inquiries, overseeing events, and maintaining client relationships. Ideal candidates will have experience in hospitality sales, excellent communication skills, and a creative approach to problem-solving. We are currently looking for an Sales and Events Manager to join our team. The role will come with the following responsibilities:
- Leading all site incoming enquiries for venue hire and large group bookings
- Attending the bigger events on the day to ensure that it is running smoothly and being the main point of contact for the client
- Assist in managing the diary on our booking platform
- Acting upon incoming enquiries as received in a timely manner
- Developing and maintaining personable relationships with clients and colleagues
- Liaising with existing and prospective clients regarding their event requirements and creating bespoke proposals in line with company pricing policy
- Upselling where possible to ensure maximum profitability of the event
- Arranging & attending client viewings & tastings
- Maintaining the event diary & CRM system
- Raising detailed function sheets for each event
About you
- Expeirence of working within sales teams within hospitality industry
- Resourceful with the ability to solve problems creatively and with limited guidance
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Flexible and hands-on, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Confident speaking in public
