Addison Arms Bootle is a lively, one-bar operation with a strong local following. Situated right next to the Strand Shopping Centre and a stone’s throw from the new Everton stadium, it’s a popular stop for matchday fans and a regular haunt for locals who love their sport, their pint, and their pub. Whether it’s a packed house for an Everton or Liverpool game, a midweek quiz night, or a charity event that brings the community together, Addison Arms is always buzzing with energy and opportunity.

This is a wet-led business with solid daytime trade and real potential to grow post-7pm. You’ll be the driving force behind that growth, bringing fresh thinking and a hands-on approach to everything from promotions to team development. And with a privately run competitor right next door, you’ll need to be sharp, strategic, and ready to make Addison Arms the number one choice in Bootle.

We’re looking for a General Manager who’s not just great at running a pub — but brilliant at being part of it. You’ll need to be confident, resilient, and ready to lead from the front. You’ll know how to handle a busy bar, manage a team, and keep standards high, all while building relationships with regulars and making newcomers feel right at home. A passion for sport is a must, and if you’ve got ideas to grow our evening trade and food offering, even better.
