Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:45 What will you be responsible for? As a Ganger, you’ll be working within the Kier Transportation team, supporting them in delivering safe, high-quality, and efficient highway maintenance and construction works.
Your day to day will include: Leading a team of operatives to carry out complex specialist tasks, referring to technical manuals and drawings Managing daily site operations, ensuring safety for both operatives and the public Conducting point of work risk assessments and maintaining safe working procedures Overseeing the use and maintenance of specialist equipment in line with PUWER regulations Providing guidance and training to colleagues while ensuring compliance with Kier’s HSEQ standards What are we looking for? This role of Ganger is great for you if: You have experience leading teams and delivering under pressure in a demanding environment You hold an SMSTS/SSSTS or similar qualification You have a full UK driving licence We’re all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
