Kier is hiring a Ganger to join their Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks – Southwest Water team in Bodmin. The Ganger will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the safe and timely completion of work. We’re looking for a Ganger to join our join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks – Southwest Water team based in Bodmin
Location: Based from our Bodmin depot
Contract: Permanent – Full time
Our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks division brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our Southwest Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services
What will you be responsible for?
As a Ganger, you’ll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks – Southwest Water team, supporting them in co-ordinating and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to programme.
Wondering what the day to day within this role looks like?
As a Ganger, your day-to-day will include:
- Taking personal responsibility for Health & Safety performance, overall quality of work and meeting productivity targets.
- Communicating with the ganger and other colleagues as required updating them on progress
- Coordinating all site activities
What are we looking for?
This role of Ganger is great for you if:
- Previous Utilities experience is required
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS Card and EUSR Water Hygiene Trained (can obtained in the role)
