The Funding Assurance team provides guidance to education providers seeking funding from the central government, specifically the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), which became part of the Department for Education (DfE) on 1 April 2025. The DfE is responsible for funding post-16 education and has devolved adult education funding, now known as the adult skills fund, to Mayoral Combined Authorities (MCAs), including those in Greater London. This team ensures that educational institutions understand and comply with funding requirements.
