THE ROLE

As Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all of our guests enjoy a seamless and exceptional experience from the point of making a reservation, through to arrival, check out and ongoing relationship. Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • Oversee the smooth operational running of the reception team and VIP Guest Experience team.
  • Have a complete understanding of budget, targets, forecasts, and P&L for your department and ensure the entire team are working hard to achieve them.
  • Completing the rota for your team on time and within labour costs.
  • Be forward thinking and innovative when it comes to ways of working and best practice.
  • Thorough knowledge of Micros, OPERA and Vingcard system and responsibility to ensure that our guest profiles are up to date, room allocation is in line with the Nobu strategy and all VIP banding prepared in good time.
  • Oversee and verify that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
  • Maximise room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyse rate variance, monitor credit reports and room availability and provide reporting.
  • To offer strong leadership, mentoring, and guidance to your team in all areas.
  • To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Reception Manager or Guest Relations Manager role.
  • Minimum 1 year experience within a 5* Hotel.
  • Strong understanding of Micros, Fourth and OPERA.
  • Good understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and scheduling.
