Smile Education is seeking a dedicated Full-Time French Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Redditch. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a love for French to inspire and educate students as a class tutor, lecturer, or cover supervisor.

Role Overview: As a French Teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and enthusiasm for the French language with students of varying ages and abilities. Whether leading classroom lessons, providing one-on-one support, or covering for absent teachers, you will play a vital role in fostering a passion for French language learning.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive French lessons that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
• Inspire students to develop their language skills through immersion in French culture, literature, and history.
• Provide individualised support and feedback to students to enhance their speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities in French.
• Act as a class tutor, guiding students through their academic journey and providing pastoral support as needed.
• Fulfil the role of lecturer or cover supervisor when required, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, assessments, and enrichment activities that promote language acquisition and cultural appreciation.

Requirements:

• A passion for the French language and a desire to instil a love of French learning in students.
• Previous experience teaching or tutoring French is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages and abilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to fulfil different teaching roles within the school environment.
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is not required for this position, but relevant experience and expertise in French language teaching are essential.
