*The Opportunity*
● Leading and motivating teams to complete sports pitch renovations and construction projects, including football, rugby, horse racing, golf, cricket and all aspects of civil engineering contracts
● Interpretation and application of detailed design drawings
● Experience working with dual grade levels, datum points, site plots etc
● Operating small and large scale yellow plant relevant to the work – excavators up to 13tn, Dozers, drainage equipment, tracked and wheeled dumpers, tractors and attachments, with all relevant CPCS tickets in place.
● Involvement with design / construction, with the ability to liaise on site with Clients and report directly to Contract and Operation Managers
● Overseeing and managing sub-contractors on site
● Ensuring that all company standards, relating to all aspects are enforced and maintained
● Completion of all paperwork as required and ensuring that all Health and Safety procedures are inline with CDM 2015 requirements
● SMSTS desirable, but minimum requirement will be SSSTS
*Periods of Work* – Full Time – 40 hours – 5 days a week. Regular overtime and weekend work during peak season
*The Person*
Knowledge of landscape plant and machinery essential with relevant up-to-date tickets, experience in sports turf management highly desirable, must have valid UK driving licence.
