Motia is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a new member for their Sales Team. The ideal candidate should be confident on the phone, eager to learn, and possess a curious mindset, with sales experience not essential as training will be provided. The role involves engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and showcasing Motia's Fleet products. Responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, onboarding new customers, and ensuring high-quality service. The position offers a competitive salary of £25,727 plus uncapped commission, along with additional benefits such as 25 days of annual leave and a vibrant working environment.
We’re Motia. We help businesses fuel their fleets – and we’re growing fast. Right now, we’ve got space on our Sales Team for someone who’s curious, confident on the phone, and ready to learn.
Sales experience? Handy, but not essential. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.
This is a phone-based role. You’ll be speaking to new customers, finding out what they need, and showing them how our Fleet products can help.
You won’t be reading from a script – you’ll be learning how to listen, ask the right questions, and offer the right solution.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain a full understanding of our product offerings and the market.
Plan & prioritise sales activities to achieve agreed targets.
On-board new customers through calling our customer and prospective CRM base and converting leads passed via the fuel card agents.
Conduct meetings online with customers to demonstrate software.
Deliver a high quality of service, increasing business growth and customer satisfaction.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
Log information on calls and update all customer records on the CRM system.
Any other duties as may be reasonably required.

Previous experience within sales or customer service preferred.
A good level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Enthusiastic and an excellent communicator.

Inquisitive nature, eager to learn more about our customers and their businesses.
A desire to talk on the phone with a confident telephone manner.
Benefits
Basic salary – £25,727 per annum.

No shifts, we all work Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:15pm with a 2:45pm finish every Friday!
